In the raga Shankarabharanam, I sing the praises of Lord Shiva, who is adorned with the crescent moon.

Pedagogical Note

Shankarabharanam is the 29th Melakarta — equivalent to the Western C major scale. One of the most important ragas in Carnatic music.
