Terms of Service

By accessing or using Raga Sangrah ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our") at www.ragasangrah.com or any associated mobile application, you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Jags Design (Panzora Collectibles), the operator of Raga Sangrah, headquartered in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.

Raga Sangrah is a digital platform dedicated to Carnatic classical music education, reference, and composition. The Platform provides:

• A comprehensive raga encyclopedia covering all 72 Melakarta ragas and hundreds of Janya ragas
• Structured learning curricula from beginner to advanced levels
• Interactive notation, composition, and playback tools
• Community features including user collections and contributions
• Subscription-based premium features

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Platform.

Raga Sangrah offers four membership tiers:

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and international payment methods via our payment processor.

All platform content, design, software, trademarks, and original editorial content are the property of Jags Design (Panzora Collectibles) or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

Classical Carnatic compositions (Geethams, Varnams, Krithis) by historical composers are in the public domain. However, our specific notation arrangements, translations, audio recordings, and editorial annotations are protected by copyright.

User-generated content (compositions, annotations, corrections) remains your intellectual property. By submitting content, you grant Raga Sangrah a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content on the Platform.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download Platform content
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform
• Use the Platform for commercial purposes without a Guru-tier subscription or written agreement
• Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Impersonate other users, musicians, or composers
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other user accounts or Platform systems
• Use the Platform to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Raga Sangrah makes no representations about the accuracy or completeness of musicological content, though we strive for scholarly rigour with citations to authoritative sources.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jags Design (Panzora Collectibles) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. We encourage resolution of disputes through our support team before initiating legal proceedings.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
